Palm Jebel Ali — Nakheel’s island that is twice the size of Palm Jumeirah — is progressing fast. Around ۷۰۰ homes have been sold , and on ۲۷ April ۲۰۲۶ a Dhs ۳.۵ billion deal was signed to build ۵۴۴ waterfront villas, with completion targeted for end-۲۰۲۸, according to Time Out Dubai and Palm Observer .

The island spans ۱۳.۴km with ۱۶ fronds, ۱۱۰km of coastline and will eventually house ۳۵,۰۰۰ families, with plans for ۸۰ hotels and resorts. First handovers are expected in ۲۰۲۷.
