Palm Jebel Ali takes shape: 700 homes sold, first handovers in 2027

Palm Jebel Ali — Nakheel’s island that is twice the size of Palm Jumeirah — is progressing fast. Around 700 homes have been sold , and on 27 April 2026 a Dhs 3.5 billion deal was signed to build 544 waterfront villas, with completion targeted for end-2028, according to Time Out Dubai and Palm Observer .

The island spans 13.4km with 16 fronds, 110km of coastline and will eventually house 35,000 families, with plans for 80 hotels and resorts. First handovers are expected in 2027.
