Palm Jebel Ali — Nakheel’s island that is twice the size of Palm Jumeirah — is progressing fast. Around 700 homes have been sold, and on 27 April 2026 a Dhs 3.5 billion deal was signed to build 544 waterfront villas, with completion targeted for end-2028, according to Time Out Dubai and Palm Observer.

The island spans 13.4km with 16 fronds, 110km of coastline and will eventually house 35,000 families, with plans for 80 hotels and resorts. First handovers are expected in 2027.
