Majid Al Futtaim Group is a large Arab holding company that was established in 1992 and is based in Dubai. It consists of 4 specialised firms: MAF Ventures, MAF Properties, MAF Retail and MAF Trust. Majid Al Futtaim, one of the most powerful billionaires in the world, is the founder and president of this company. Majid Al Futtaim Group specialises in the development, construction, ownership and management of large shopping centres in various countries including Cairo in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Some of the largest shopping centres in the United Arab Emirates include Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates.
